Terms of Service

Polarix Growth  ·  Last updated 26 August 2026

These terms govern use of this website and the internal tools operated by Polarix Growth ("we", "us"), including the Polarix Ads Reporting Connector (the "Connector"). By using the site or authorising the Connector, you agree to these terms.

1. Who we are

Polarix Growth is a growth marketing consultancy based in Cape Town, South Africa. Contact: steven@polarixgrowth.com

2. The Connector is an internal tool

The Connector is used by Polarix Growth consultants to read advertising performance data from client accounts to which those consultants already hold user access, granted by the client. It is not a product, it is not sold or licensed, and it is not made available to the general public.

Authorisation is performed by an individual consultant using their own Google account. Nothing in these terms grants any person access to an advertising account they are not otherwise permitted to access.

3. Read-only operation

The Connector performs read operations only. It does not create or modify campaigns, change budgets or bids, pause, enable or remove any entity, create accounts, manage users, access billing, or upload data. Any change to a client's advertising account is made separately and deliberately, through that platform's own interface.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use this site or the Connector to break any law, infringe anyone's rights, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system or account, interfere with or disrupt our services, or circumvent any access control or rate limit.

5. Third party platforms

The Connector interacts with the Google Ads API. Use of that API is additionally governed by Google's own terms and policies, including the Google API Services User Data Policy. Where these terms conflict with Google's terms in relation to Google data, Google's terms take precedence. We do not control third party platforms and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy or changes to them.

6. Client data and confidentiality

Data accessed through a client's advertising accounts belongs to that client. We use it only to deliver the services that client has engaged us for, and we treat it as confidential. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Revoking access

Access can be withdrawn at any time, either by revoking the OAuth grant at myaccount.google.com/permissions or by removing our user access from within the advertising account. Withdrawal takes effect immediately.

8. No warranty

This site and the Connector are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that reporting output will be uninterrupted or error free, or that platform data will be complete or accurate.

9. Analysis is not a guarantee of results

Reports, audits and recommendations we produce are professional opinions based on the data available at the time. They are not a guarantee of any particular advertising, revenue or business outcome. Decisions taken on the basis of our recommendations remain the client's own.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these terms is limited to the fees paid to us under the relevant engagement in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Intellectual property

We retain ownership of the Connector, our methods, templates and the content of this site. Clients retain ownership of their own data and of the deliverables prepared for them under their engagement agreement.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the courts of South Africa have exclusive jurisdiction, save that either party may seek injunctive relief in any competent court.
