Polarix Growth · Last updated 26 August 2026
This policy explains what information Polarix Growth ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website and the internal tools we operate on behalf of our clients, including the Polarix Ads Reporting Connector.
Who we are
Polarix Growth is a growth marketing consultancy based in Cape Town, South Africa. We are engaged directly by client companies to analyse and improve their marketing performance.

Information we collect
Website visitors
If you contact us or book a call through this site, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, email address, company and any message you send. We also collect standard product analytics about how the site is used, including pages viewed, referring source and approximate location, in order to understand and improve the site.
Client advertising and analytics data
When a client engages us, they grant our team named user access to their own marketing accounts, which may include Google Ads, Meta Ads, analytics platforms and CRM systems. Through that access we read performance data such as campaign, ad group, keyword and search term performance, spend, conversion counts and conversion configuration.
This data belongs to the client. We access it only to produce reporting and recommendations for that same client.
Google user data
The Polarix Ads Reporting Connector requests the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords scope. This allows it to read Google Ads reporting data from accounts the authenticating user already has permission to access.
The tool performs read operations only. It cannot create or modify campaigns, change budgets or bids, pause or remove any entity, create accounts, manage users, or access billing. It does not read your email, files, contacts or any other Google service.
How we use information
- To respond to enquiries and provide the services a client has engaged us for
- To produce account audits, reporting and optimisation recommendations for that client
- To operate, maintain and improve our own tools
- To meet legal and accounting obligations
We do not use client advertising data for advertising to you, for training machine learning models, or for any purpose unrelated to the engagement under which we received it.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share client data with third parties for their own purposes. We share information only:
- with the client whose data it is
- with service providers who host or support our systems, under confidentiality obligations
- where required by law
Google user data: limited use
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data obtained through Google APIs is used only to provide and improve the reporting features described above, is not transferred to others except as necessary to provide those features or as required by law, is not used for advertising, and is not read by humans except where required for security, to comply with law, or with the user's explicit consent.
Storage and retention
Query results from the Reporting Connector are held in memory for the duration of an analysis session and are not written to any persistent database. Written reports and working files are retained for the duration of the engagement and a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted on request. Credentials are stored locally on the consultant's own workstation, restricted to that operating system user, and are never shared or committed to version control.
Security
We use access controls, encrypted transport and least-privilege permissions. Access to a client account is always through a named individual user account rather than a shared login, so every action is attributable. No system is perfectly secure, but we take steps appropriate to the sensitivity of the data.
Your rights
Depending on where you are, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal information, and to object to it or request portability. South African users have rights under POPIA. Users in the EU and UK have rights under the GDPR. Write to steven@polarixgrowth.com and we will respond.
Revoking access
Any user who has authorised the Polarix Ads Reporting Connector can revoke that access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. A client can also remove our user access from within their own Google Ads account at any time, which immediately ends our ability to read that account.
International transfers
We operate from South Africa and use service providers that may process data elsewhere. Where personal information is transferred across borders, we take steps to ensure it remains protected to a comparable standard.
Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
